Very predictable result when twelfth ranked PolishDziki (6-2) smashed 68th ranked Spanish Alicante (1-7) 117-71 on Sunday. The game without a history. Dziki led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Alicante 's 36 and made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game, while Alicante only scored five points from the stripe. Dziki forced 31 Alicante turnovers and outrebounded them 48-25 including a 18-0 advantage in offensive rebounds. Dziki looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. Point guard Piotr Galazka (184-2009) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Maciej Skowronek chipped in 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Deividas Navikas produced 13 points and 4 assists and Swiss Stinor Lota added 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Five Dziki and four Alicante players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
